Canon IJSetup 6730 Review– the 6730 printed 3.2 full-page pages per minute (ppm) and generated graphics at 1.5ppm, with no challenge for the iP5200R marks of 8.7 and 2.9ppm. The 6730 took a 5×7 inch photo in 45 seconds, slow along with other tested printers.
The stunning 3.5-inch color pop-up screen of the Canon 6730 makes menu navigation, image previews, and basic photo retouching light without the need for a PC. Its infrared interface can receive pictures from some phones, and a $ 99 add-on provides Bluetooth wireless printing.
A direct print port also allows you to use a USB cable to print from a PictBridge-compatible digital camera (but unlike some competing models, not from a portable USB drive).
A remarkable new feature: the Canon 6730 incorporates what the company calls “Canon’s direct benefit to Canon.” When you use the printer with certain Canon cameras, you can retouch photos, print a contact sheet, and more, all of the camera controls. The two media card slots in the printer read the most common card formats.
The Canon 6730 adds support for several new paper sizes and Canon’s Fine Art Photo Rag. The printer uses a lower cassette drawer and a vertical sheet feeder that can hold up to 150 sheets of plain paper. An automatic duplex setting allows two-sided printing.
